TELLME TO POWER ALL CINGULAR WIRELESS 411 CALLS

Expanded Relationship Focuses On Enhancing 411 with Personalization and Mobile Search Services

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., October 9, 2006 - Tellme Networks, Inc. today announced a unified directory assistance service that will provide all Cingular Wireless subscribers with the very latest in Internet-powered directory assistance and mobile search services on their wireless phones, just by calling 411. This agreement signifies an expansion of the work Tellme has done with AT&T Wireless, now Cingular, in consumer services and directory assistance since 2001.

"Together with Cingular we are providing the most creative and useful mobile search service available today by giving 411 callers fast and easy access to information nationwide. We are very excited to be expanding the work we've been doing with Cingular and partnering with their team to innovate the 411 experience," said Jeff Kunins, Vice President of Product Management at Tellme.

Cingular callers can use the 411 service to:

  • Search for wireline business, residential and government listings in Spanish and English
  • Opt to always receive listings by text message
  • Use reverse lookup to find who called if they have a number but not a name
  • Find movie show times, locations and purchase tickets
  • Access personalized turn-by-turn driving directions
  • Automatically reconnect to their last listing with the Callback History feature

Cingular also offers VoiceDial and VoiceInfo, additional services powered by Tellme and available to subscribers by dialing *8 from a Cingular phone. VoiceDial is a convenient way to enjoy hands-free calling by storing contacts in a network based address book and connecting to any contact simply by speaking their name or number. VoiceDial is integrated with 411, allowing callers to add listings from 411 directly to their VoiceDial address book. VoiceInfo provides information and services for Cingular customers to use daily, such as wake-up calls, stock quotes, sports, weather, horoscopes, the Rowdy stock car portal and Instant Alibi, a pre-set phone call, and more.

Tellme answers more automated directory assistance calls in the United States than any other company, and provides directory assistance services for the largest mobile and landline carriers in the country. Thirty five million unique monthly users of Tellme services drive more than 100 million voice searches from their phones each month.

The new 411 service will be available to all Cingular subscribers in the first part of 2007.
